JIMMY WONG SENSEI STARTED KARATE AT AGE 10 AND WON THE SHODAN AT AGE 17 YEARS IN 1978. THROUGHOUT HIS SHOTOKAN KARATE DO LIFE HE PRACTICED WITH NISHIYAMA, OKAZAKI, KANAZAWA, JAMES FIELD, HIS “BROTHERS” SENSEI MARCOS MORON NOVARO AND ALAN WONG. HE GREW UP IN PERU AND HAS LIVED IN THE UNITED STATES FOR THIRTY YEARS, WHERE HE HAS BEEN PRACTICING WITH SENSEI HIROKAZU KANAZAWA SKIF FOR TWENTY YEARS.

IN 1967, CESAR SALAMANCA STARTED HIS PRACTICE OF OKINAWAN KARATE IN PERU WITH SENSEI GIOVANNI KARATE CERVERA. HE LATER CONTINUED HIS STUDIES WITH SENSEI FERNANDO LEIBINGER, MASATOSHI OSHIRO AND SENSEI KENJI KIMURA. SINCE MOVING TO THE UNITED STATES IN 1990 HE HAS CONTINUED PRACTICING SHOTOKAN WITH SENSEI JIMMY WONG.

SENSEI BRUNO ELIAS RAMOS

BRUNO ELIAS RAMOS STARTED HIS PRACTICE OF OKINAWAN KARATE IN 1978 WHERE HE BEGAN TRAINING IN THE STYLE OF WADO-RYU. BRUNO ELIAS HAS COMPETED GLOBALLY PLACING AND WINNING TOURNAMENTS IN KUMITE AND KATA. SINCE 2000, BRUNO ELIAS HAS BEEN TRAINING WITH SENSEI JIMMY WONG AND CONTINUES TO PRACTICE, COMPETE AND TEACH ON A GLOBAL LEVEL. HE ENJOYS MENTORING YOUNG KARATEKAS AND LIKES TO APPLY KARATE PRINCIPALS TO BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE.
